A new evening programme, NexGen Essentials, designed to equip youth and adults with a variety of Technical and Career Skills was officially launched here yesterday.

Speaking at a press briefing to launch the programme, Kimsha Williams, Managing Director of Learning For Living said that NexGen, would offer students new opportunities for improving their existing computer skills; building their resume and to market themselves.

The courses on offer include English Fundamentals, Basic Mathematics, Computing Essentials, Marketing, Graphic Design, Web Design, Computer Hardware, Maintenance and Repairs, Computer Programming I, Computer Programming II, Job Readiness and Entrepreneurship.

Each course will run for 3-4 weeks with 6 contact hours weekly.

Registration begins on October 19th and classes are expected to start on November 9th, 2015.

Learning For Living is located on the 2nd Floor Sprott Bros. Building and has been in operation for the last two years.
