The opposition New Democratic Party (NDP) says it will continue with a series of massive protests right after Christmas, over the outcome of the December 9th general elections, which it claims were not free or fair.

Leader of the NDP, Mr. Arnhim Eustace made the disclosure on Tuesday, while speaking on Nice Radio.

He said the decision was taken in light of a request from members of the business community.

The Opposition leader also announced that the party has already taken steps to have the validity of the elections contested in the court.

The New Democratic Party has refused to accept the results of the December 9th general election, and has voiced concerns particularly about the results in the Central Leeward constituency.
