Following the financial impact Covid-19 has had on the parents of SVG, the Mustique Charitable Trust has taken on the task of supplying core textbooks and workbooks to over 4000 Primary school students.
Across a seven-day period parents have been collecting various textbooks and workbooks for their children, the distribution took place at the Kingstown Cooperative Credit Union (KCCU) financial centre on Granby Street, Kingstown.
The Mustique Charitable Trust is also including masks in the packages.
The budget for the project came in at about EC$504,000, with $454,000 allocated to the purchase and distribution of 18,000 books, and EC$50,000 for masks.
