The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Services says that moisture and instability associated with a tropical wave will continue to produce cloudiness, showers and thunderstorm activity over the islands during the next 12-18 hours.

Thereafter, an approaching tropical wave presently located about 400 miles east of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, moving west northwest near 15 miles per hour will begin to affect the islands.

This wave continues to produce disorganized showers and thunderstorms, and environmental conditions are now only marginally conducive for development.

Regardless of development, the local Met office said that this system is likely to bring pockets of moderate to heavy showers and thunderstorm activity across St. Vincent and the Grenadines by late tonight into Saturday.
