The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment now has their very own Cardiologist in their service. This announcement comes from this country’s Minister of Health Hon. Luke Bowne.

“I think this is a very important announcement for the honorable house. It is the fact that we currently have in our service, in the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment, a Cardiologist, which is a specialty which was missing for some time, but we have a Cardiologist available, meaning that we could treat a wider range of medical conditions right here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.” Minister Browne said.

A cardiologist is a doctor with special training and skill in finding, treating and preventing diseases of the heart and blood vessels.

According to University of Rochester’s Medical Center, a cardiologist has at least 10 years of medical training. This includes: 4 years of medical school.
