“We know that Dengue has no respect of persons. It is not concerned if somebody supports the Unity Labour Party or supports the New Democratic Party, and that is why I don’t want anyone in this house or outside of this house to play politics with Dengue fever.

Mr. Speaker there members on this side of the house who have been affected by Dengue fever and who have been hospitalized as a result of Dengue fever. There are persons in my family who have been affected by Dengue fever. So it is my duty for various reasons to make sure we do our best in our response to this.”
