Minister of Gender Affairs, Frederick Stephenson, has called for more recognition to be given to men here, for the contribution they have been making.

Minister Stephenson who made the point, while delivering remarks at a symposium yesterday, hosted by the Gender Affairs Division, as part of activities to observe International Men’s Day, noted that men should be commended for their roles at home and at the work place.

And Methodist Minister, Reverend Adolf Davis, who commended the men in attendance at yesterday’s Symposium, says that more needs to be to address issues relating to men.

Yesterday’s symposium was held at the Methodist Church Hall on the theme “Men and Masculinity Shattering the Social Expectations of a Man and Success” – while International Men’s Day 2019 was held on the theme “Making a Difference for Men and Boys”.
