Minister of Education Hon. St. Clair Jimmy Prince has issued a back to school message, addressing students, teachers, parents and all other stakeholders.

“My dear students, as you begin this new school year, please remember to wear your masks between home and school, wash your hands or use your hand sanitizer as often as you can.

Cooperate with those assigned to take your temperature and do your best to follow the guidelines given by your teachers.”

He went on to address the educators:

“Educators, as we continue to battle the COVID-19 pandemic and other issues that work against our education system, I urge you to observe the necessary protocols for the health and safety of all as we are indeed our brother’s keeper.”

Minister Prince asked that the educators seek to form relational trust with parents and stakeholders.

He ended with a quote by Helen Keller “Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.”
