Minister of Agriculture Hon. Saboto Caesar while speaking on radio this week, made an appeal to the Vincentian public to become more involved in backyard farming. We hear more from Minister Caesar:
“We are not leaving any family behind, because we have a lot of persons who do their backyard gardening.
So if you’re listening and you have your backyard and you have a space that you could put some dirt, I want you to take up the space to plant your little eggplant, your little okra, your little string beans”
Minister Caesar went on to give a reminder that the government is on a quest to reduce hunger and ultimately achieve bring hunger in SVG down to zero.
