Local media entities are collaborating with Tempo Cable Television Network to bring Live television coverage of the official opening of Argyle International Airport (AIA) on February 14, 2017, and the Military Parade and Flag Raising Ceremony scheduled for Monday February 13.

The Agency for Public Information (API) in collaboration with SVG TV and VC 3 will bring Live Television coverage of the events locally, while Tempo will broadcast the events to regional and international audiences.

The events of February 13 and 14 at Argyle International Airport will be televised live locally on channel 116, SVG TV and VC3. Live stream will also be provided via The Agency for Public Information SVG Facebook page.

The coverage will include a live panel with guest moderators, interviews, vox populi (interview with members of the public) and coverage of the arrival and departure of flights on February 14.

As part of the media and promotional campaign leading up to the opening of the Airport, API in collaboration with the Office of the Prime Minister and Tempo Cable Television Network has teamed up to produce a series of programmes, entitled, – “The Realization of a Dream”, the coming on stream of the Argyle International Airport.

The first programme featuring Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves on the realization of his dream to build an International Airport here, will be televised on Tempo and local television stations from today January 31.
