ProjectMEN2020 in collaboration with The World Needs a Father will from this afternoon commence a Master Mentor Training Seminar on Fatherhood, as part of celebrations to commemorate International Men’s Day, observed next Tuesday November 19, 2019.

The Seminar will be held at the VINSAVE Child Development Centre Conference room – located between the National Public Library and the UWI Open Campus in Kingstown.
Fathers will be trained in the four primary roles of fatherhood, namely, to establish moral authority, to confer identity, to provide emotional security and to affirm potential.

The facilitators for the training are Courtney Richards, from Jamaica, Robert Irvin Paddier, from Trinidad and Tobago, Alex Altidor and Conroy Huggins from St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The curriculum for the training was developed in Durban, South Africa by the World Needs a Father and has been used globally and in the Caribbean.

The seminar will be held until November 15th from 5:30pm to 8:30pm and will culminate during a one day session, on Saturday November 16, from 9am to 4pm.
