Police have arrested and charged Errol Walker, 26 year old labourer of Choppins for the possession of controlled drugs and unlawful possession of ammunition.
According the police’s investigations, Walker was met in possession of 2,652 grammes of cannabis and one round of .9mm ammunition without a license issued under the Firearm Act. This incident occurred at Choppins on the 27th of February 2021.
Walker appeared before the Serious Offences Court yesterday and plead guilty to both offences. He was fined $400.00 for unlawful possession of ammunition, which is to be paid by the fifth of this month; and $1800.00 for the possession of controlled drugs which is to be paid by the thirtieth of this month.
