Elroy Cruickshank, a 52-year-old resident of Arnos Vale, succumbed to his injuries at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital on November 1st, five days after he was involved in an accident with a motor vehicle.

Preliminary investigation claim that Cruickshank was lying on the sidewalk near the Mango Tree Bar at Arnos Vale, when motor vehicle P6141, driven by 50-year-old Joham Buntyn of Edinboro, which was travelling towards the Arnos Vale roundabout ran off the road and struck him.

He was taken to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.

There have been 13 road accidents this year, which resulted in the deaths of 21 persons.
