Local businessman, Arlington Thomas is offering two scholarships this year to students of the St. Joseph’s Convent Marriaqua, as the school prepares to celebrate its 50th anniversary on September 16, 2017.

The anniversary theme is “50 years of love in service,” and in the lead up to the celebration the school is hosting several activities.

Mr. Thomas who owns a trucking business, and is a past student of the St. Joseph’s Convent Marriaqua said the two scholarships will be given to two less fortunate students come the start of the new school year in September.
