On Monday, police arrested and charged Anthony Primus, a 44 years old Mechanic of Belair with the offence wounding.

According to investigations, the accused man allegedly unlawfully and maliciously wounded an 18-year-old resident of Ashburton by chopping him with a cutlass on his left hand and index finger. The incident occurred at Belair last Friday.

Primus is expected to appear before the Serious Offences Court to answer the charges.

Also on Monday, police arrested charged Selwyn Edwards, 53 years old Farmer of Langley Park with the offence of theft.  According to investigations, Edwards allegedly stole twenty-eight (28) pigs, three (3) brown and white ewe goats, one (1) brown ewe sheep and a quantity of tools from a 50- year-old farmer.

The incident occurred at Bower Mountain, Orange Hill between October 1st 2029 and February 2nd 2020

Edwards will appear before the Serious Offences Court to answer the charges.
