Jay-Z filed a defamation lawsuit against a woman, referred to as Jane Doe, who had accused him of raping her at age 13 at a party hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs.

In the lawsuit, Jay-Z claims that the woman admitted to his representatives that her rape accusation, originally made in a now-dropped lawsuit, was false.

He describes her as financially troubled and struggling with mental health and drug issues, and alleges she made other unfounded sexual assault claims.

The lawsuit also criticizes her lawyers for pursuing the case out of greed, knowing the accusations were false.

The woman’s attorney, Tony Buzbee, denied the allegations, calling them lies, and vowed to address them in court.
