A Project which aims to strengthen the quality of Service delivery in Education and improve the Social Protection Systems was launched here yesterday.

The 28-million EC dollar St. Vincent and the Grenadines Human Development Service Delivery Project is being supported by the World Bank, the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) and the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Commission.

Senior Economist Louise Tash presented an overview of the project at the launch held at the National Insurance Services (NIS) Conference Facility.

An official of the World Bank said the institution is pleased to be associated with this project.

Meanwhile, Minister of Finance, Economic Planning and Sustainable Development, Camillo Gonsalves in delivering the feature address said the project has tremendous potential for St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
