President of the Vincentian Association of Artists, Writers and Producers, Rene Baptiste, says a greater effort needs to be made in order to preserve the cultural heritage of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

She expressed this view while delivering remarks on Monday October 1, 2018 at a media launch for the 2018 Annual Literary Fair, which takes place from October 8 to 12 at the National Public Library in Kingstown from 9am-5pm daily.

Ms. Baptiste noted that the Literary Fair provides a platform to promote Vincentian literary and creative arts.

Ms. Baptiste is encouraging Vincentian graduates of the University of the West Indies (UWI) who are authors, writers and poets to take their work to be exhibited at next week’s literary fair.
