The National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC) will be hosting the Grand Finale and Prize Giving ceremony for the third annual Idea and Innovation competition known as the I square competition this Thursday January 14th.
The event is scheduled to take place at the National Insurance Services (NIS) Main Conference Room from 9:00 am to 3:35pm. The secondary schools will be judged in the morning and the Tertiary level in the afternoon.
Twenty teams from various secondary and tertiary schools were selected from the Preliminary stage of the competition and have now advanced to the finals in both the Mobile Application and Idea categories of the competition.
There will be presentations by teams from the St. Vincent Girls’ High School, St. Vincent Grammar School, Petit Bordel Secondary School, Mountain View Academy and the Union Island Secondary School.
Regarding the Tertiary Schools, there will be presentations by teams from the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies; the Division of Technical and Vocational Education and the Division of Nursing Education.
