Graduands of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College recently had an opportunity to interact with various employers at a fair dubbed “Meet the Employers”.

The activity, which was hosted by the Registry of the Community College, gave students an opportunity to interact with several employers. The graduands learned about the different products and services offered by the entities, and gathered information about job vacancies and application procedures.

The Ministry of Education, which currently engages over 1600 teachers, was represented at the Fair and Senior Education Officer, Joycelyn Blake-Browne, indicates that the Ministry is pleased to provide support, mainly to the prospective teachers.

According to a release from the Ministry of Education, anyone interested in the Teaching Service must fill the prescribed teaching application form available at the administrative building of the Ministry of Education.

Accompanying documents include a certified copy of the applicant’s birth certificate, academic qualifications, two recent testimonials and a police record.

The “Meet the Employers” Fair took place on Friday June 21 at the Villa campus of the Community College and coincided with the graduands’ “Photo Day”.
