112 nurses and Nursing Assistants in clinics and in the community nursing services, who did not receive payment for uncalled and weekend duties, will be paid in full for their services, in their December 2019 pay packages.
The announcement was made by Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves – during in his address at Victoria Park on Sunday – during the military parade, of the nation’s 40thh anniversary of independence from Britain.
Dr. Gonsalves said the aggregate of the payments amounts to Nine Hundred and 95 thousand, three hundred and thirty two dollars and 56 cents.
