The Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines will soon appoint an inter-ministerial committee on Health, Wellness and the Environment.
Speaking at yesterday’s swearing in ceremony for the new Cabinet Ministers, Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said the Committee which will be tasked with coordinating and overseeing the fresh initiatives in health, will be co-chaired by himself as Prime Minister and the Minister of Health, Wellness and the Environment, Luke Browne.
Dr. Gonsalves also announced that the government intends to establish a National Economic Advisory Council (NEAC) to provide valuable advice and counsel to the government on the economic development of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
