Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has reiterated deep gratitude on behalf of himself and the government for the support shown by Vincentians, friendly countries and agencies towards the successful completion of the Argyle International Airport (AIA).
The AIA commenced operations on February 14, last year.
Delivering the feature address at a rally on Saturday night to mark the first year of operations of the international airport here, Prime Minister Gonsalves noted that without the assistance and support of the various contributors, the dream of having an international airport in St. Vincent and the Grenadines would not have become a reality.
The Prime Minister further noted that during this year there will be increased flights at Argyle International Airport.
