The government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, through the Regional Disaster Vulnerability Reduction Project, is currently conducting river embankment works within the North River.
These works include the deepening of the culvert that runs under the road adjacent to the south entrances of the CD Veira warehouses at Block 2000.
As a result, the section of North River Road, between the Stoney Grounds Bridge and the intersection to Block 2000 would be closed from effective yesterday April 16, 2018 to the end of June 2018.
Motorists and pedestrians are kindly asked to take note accordingly.
