The government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines will be hosting a media launch later this week for the National Geothermal Project.
The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Wednesday July 15th, 2015, at Cabinet Room beginning at 9:00am.
Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves will make an address at this event.
Prime Minister Gonsalves had noted previously that this country is expected to have an installation of 10 mega watts of geothermal energy by the end of 2017.
According to, Dr. Gonsalves Geothermal Energy will be the game-changer for St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The government has partnered with the Clinton Global Foundation and Reykjavik Geothermal Limited to explore for geothermal energy in this country.
