Police have arrested and charged Leon Samuel, a 75 year old Labourer of Montaque, Georgetown, for the offence of Assault casing actual Bodily Harm and attempted rape.
According to investigations, Leon Samuel allegedly assaulted an 80 year old retired teacher by boxing her about her face, chest and hands, causing actual bodily harm and with intent to commit the offence of rape on her.
The incident occurred in Georgetown about 6:10 p.m. on November 1, 2018
Meanwhile, Police have arrested and jointly charged Zickie George, 30 years old, and Earney Peters, a 35 year old both Fishermen of Grenada, for the offence of Possession of a Controlled Drugs.
According to investigations, about 10:25 a.m. on November 7, 2018, the accused allegedly had in their possession 1,788 grammes of cannabis with intent to supply it to another at Troumaca.
