Effective Monday, August 13, the prices of gasoline and diesel will increase, while the price of Low-Sulphur Diesel will decrease.

Cabinet has granted approval for these price changes to be made in exercise of the powers conferred by the Price and Distribution of Goods Act (CAP 161).

The new retail price of gasoline will be $12.99, an increase of 44 cents per gallon from the previous price of $12.55 per gallon.

The wholesale price for Gasoline will be $12.29, an increase of 44 cents per gallon from the previous price of $11.85 per gallon.

The retail price of diesel has increased by 43 cents per gallon, moving from $10.55 per gallon to $10.98 per gallon, while the wholesale price for diesel will be $10.37, an increase of 43 cents per gallon, from the previous price of $9.94.

Meanwhile, the Low-Sulphur Diesel will retail at $11, a reduction of 19 cents per gallon, from the previous price of $11.19 per gallon.

The wholesale price for Low-Sulphur Diesel will be $10.39, a decrease of 19 cents per gallon, from the previous price of $10.58.
