Telecommunications provider FLOW has signalled its commitment to continue offering scholarships to students of this nation to aid in their academic pursuits.

Mr. Wayne Hull, Country Manager of FLOW pledged his company’s commitment to doing so as he addressed the 2017 FLOW Scholarship Awards ceremony held yesterday at Frenches House.

At the ceremony scholarships were presented to three children of employees of FLOW who excelled at this year’s Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA), and two children of FLOW customers who were successful at the 2017 CPEA.

In addition, scholarships were presented to the top three performers in the 2016 Lions Club South National Secondary Schools Public Speaking Competition and the 2016 top performer after remediation at the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC).

Mr. Hull said his company has been providing academic scholarships to children of this country for over 30 years.

Meanwhile, Mr. Dixon Findlay of the Ministry of Education congratulated FLOW on once again hosting the scholarship awards ceremony.

He also issued an admonition to the awardees to make wise and productive use of the internet.
