Fish landings in St. Vincent and the Grenadines in 2020, generated a total revenue of 16 million dollars. This was disclosed by this country’s Minister of Agriculture, Hon. Saboto Caesar during the House of Assembly.

“Fish landed and marketed in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, up to the end of the third quarter of 2020, January to September has shown an increase of %34 in weight and %22.6 in value when compared to the same period in 2019.

The estimated fish landings amounted to two point six million pounds generating a total revenue of sixteen million dollars.” Minister Caesar said.

He noted that this would not have been possible without the Argyle International Airport. Revenue value of fish landings for the same period in 2019 was estimated to be thirteen million dollars.
