Persons will have an opportunity to choose from and savor a variety of fish dishes when the Barrouallie Fish Fest takes place this Friday evening.

The event is being coordinated by the Barrouallie Fisheries Development Cooperative Society in conjunction with the Barrouallie Community Committee.

Project Manager for the Fish Fest, Mr. Ferrand Walters told WEFM News that patrons can expect a family oriented event.

Mr. Walters said they are very excited to be hosting the festival again and plans are being made to make it a regular monthly feature.

He said they, the organizers, see the festival as being a tourism product for St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Mr. Walters noted that over the years, the Barrouallie Fish Fest has been well attended and supported by patrons, and he is therefore encouraging persons to come out and be a part of the event this Friday.

Mr. Walters said the event this Friday August 4 will be held at the Central Square in Barrouallie from 6:00pm.
