A total of sixty five thousand, seven hundred and six votes were cast in the December 9th, 2015 General Elections, according to the Electoral Office.

Supervisor of Elections, Sylvia Findlay says that on Thursday December 10th, Returning Officers in each of the fifteen constituencies conducted the Final Counting of Votes as mandated by the Representation of the People Act (1982) Chapter 9 Section 42.

The elected Parliamentary Representatives for the Unity Labour Party (ULP) are: Montgomery Daniel for North Windward; Ralph E. Gonsalves-North Central Windward; Saboto Caesar-South Central Windward; Frederick Stephenson-South Windward; St. Clair Prince-Marriaqua; Camillo Gonsalves-East St. George; Louis Straker-Central Leeward and Cecil McKie-West St. George.

The elected Parliamentary Representatives for the New Democratic Party (NDP) are: Arnhim Eustace for East Kingstown; St. Claire Leacock-Central Kingstown; Daniel Cummings-West Kingstown; Nigel Stephenson- South Leeward; Roland Matthews-North Leeward; Godwin Friday-Northern Grenadines and Terrance Ollivierre-Southern Grenadines.
Ms. Findlay says His Excellency the Governor General has received the Certificate of Endorsement for each successful candidate in Wednesday’s General Election, and the Electoral Office will publish a more detailed breakdown of the 2015 General Election Results on Tuesday December 15th, on www.gov.vc as well as in the print media.
