Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, while speaking on the Issues at Hand program aired on WEFM said that one can reasonably expect that this country’s general election will take place before the yearly Nine Mornings celebrations.
“By December we’re going to have elections in this country, sometime in December, and one can reasonably expect that you’ll have elections before people start to go out on Nine Mornings.”
Prime Minister Gonsalves said that he would not want the elections to interfere with the yearly celebration.
“Certainly I would not want to interrupt people’s nine mornings with election campaigning, never done that, you have to respect these things.”
