Easy Sky Airline will be operating a jet service, twice weekly flights from Havana, Cuba to the Argyle International Airport in St. Vincent and the Grenadines beginning June 5, 2017.

This was announced this morning by Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves as he delivered a public lecture at the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College Villa Campus, in commemoration of the 25 years of formal diplomatic relations between St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Cuba.

The Prime Minister said the operating of these flights will open trade, tourism, cultural and sporting opportunities. He said in time investment opportunities will be realized.

He said the Cuban government has given permission for Easy Sky to operate flights to SVG and the Eastern Caribbean Civil Aviation Authority (ECCAA) and the SVG Air Licensing Transport Board has also given permission for the airline to fly here.

Dr. Gonsalves noted that Easy Sky has also applied for registration in our jurisdiction, but that process will take a little longer.
