This country’s leading infectious disease specialist Dr Jerrol Thompson says he is confident that the Covid 19 test kits donated by Venezuela are of a good quality and must not be rejected solely on the basis of being manufactured in China.
Dr Jerrol Thompson was at the time speaking on WeFM’s “Wake up” morning program as he responded the story of St Kitts rejecting test kits that were manufactured in China.
Dr Thompson further stated that these test kits will have to go through stages of validation.
