The Director of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), Dr. Carissa Etienne will pay an official visit to St. Vincent and the Grenadines on Monday February 15th.
Minister of health, Hon. Luke Browne speaking at a press conference yesterday, said he is delighted the PAHO Director will be visiting this country.
He said while in St. Vincent, Dr. Etienne will be engaged in field visits to PAHO-funded projects, including the Georgetown Smart Hospital.
Minister Browne said Dr. Etienne will also hold discussions with Health Officials in Fancy.
The Opening Ceremony of the PAHO Regional Managers Meeting will take place on Tuesday February 16th at the NIS Conference Room from 10:30am.
