A 52 year old Stubbs resident has found himself in hot water with the law after allegedly deceiving several persons in various communities.

According to police investigations Noel Bynoe/McDonald allegedly by deception dishonestly obtained the sum of $120.00 from a 40 year old Chauffeur of Vermont on June 15th. He was further charged for dishonestly obtaining the sum of $100.00 CAN, $50.00 and $30.00ECC in cash from a 73 year old retired Draughtsman of Ratho Mill/Canada on June 2nd, the sum of $400.00 and $100.00 in cash from a 36 year old contractor on August 6th and 7th respectively.

He was also charged with dishonestly obtaining the sum of $200.00 from a 59 year old contractor of Gomea on the June 29th and the sum of $250.00 on two (2) separate occasions from a 44 year old Housekeeper of Buccament on June 2nd and 3rd respectively.

The Accused man appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court to answer to the charges and pleaded not guilty. He was granted composite bail in the sum of $2500.00 with one (1) surety and ordered to report to the Stubbs Police Station on Mondays and Fridays between 6:00 am and 8:00pm.
