The Central Water and Sewerage Authority (CWSA) as part of the South Leeward Highway Rehabilitation and Improvement Project, is undertaking a project to install sewer lines between Bentick Square to its Headquarters at New Montrose, in an effort to better serve its customers in Kingstown. Community Liaison Officer for the Project, Marlon Stephenson told WEFM News that Phase one of the project which commenced on Sunday January 17th, will last for sixty days. He says that during that period there will be traffic diversions into and out of Kingstown. Mr. Stephenson said arrangements have also been made to accommodate container trailers that will be traversing into and out of Kingstown along the South Leeward Highway. Mr. Stephenson is appealing to motorists to exercise caution and pay attention to the various road signs.
