The Vincentian population has an opportunity to dispose of all unwanted White Goods, as the Solid Waste Management Unit within the Central Water and Sewerage Authority (CWSA) is hosting its first white goods collection service for 2018.
This Free White Goods Collection takes place from today February 19 to Saturday February 24, 2018.
White goods are domestic appliances such as stoves, washing machines, toasters, microwaves, barrels, computers, and refrigerators.
The public is reminded that the collection of construction materials such as galvanize, wood and steel, Green Waste and derelict vehicles would continue be a paid service.
The collection of white goods would be on the same day as the regular garbage collection for your area. Householders are therefore urged to ensure that your white goods are placed at your usual collection point by 6:00am.
The Solid Waste Management Unit says White goods are not to be put out for collection after the week of February 19 to 24, 2018.
