The CW Prescod Primary School and the CW Prescod Fathers Support Group will host its third “Daddy Day at School: Linking School and Work” tomorrow November 1, 2018 at the school.

It is part of the Fathers Conference initiative which the school launched on May 25, 2017 under the theme “Bridging the Gap: The Role of Fathers in the Education of their Children”.

The program will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and will only feature Kindergarten and Grade 1.

From 9 a.m. the fathers will have devotions with the children, after which they will share with them in their class rooms about their work and what they do, demonstrating, using tools and dress in work uniforms representing the place of work.

During the break, the fathers will share ice cream with their children.

From 11a.m. there will be a seminar on “Passing on a good legacy to your children”. This will be done by Global missionary, Reverend Courtney Richards of Renewed Ministries from Jamaica and the USA.

Fathers of children at CWP in Kindergarten and Grade 1 are asked to make a special effort to attend and be on time
