Customers of the St. Vincent Electricity Services Limited will see another reduction in bills this month, as the Company continues to pass on savings from falling fuel prices, to its customers.

VINLEC’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Thornley Mayers speaking at a press conference yesterday announced that the Fuel Surcharge Rate applicable on electricity bills for the month of January has decreased to 20.71 cents per unit, the lowest in 11 years.

Mr. Mayers pointed out that the Fuel Surcharge Rate is primarily a reflection of fuel prices on the international market.
