The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a serious gap in the education the nation’s children.
This is according to this country’s Minister of Education Hon. Curtis King while discussing the challenge of online learning earlier this week.
“We have a serious, serious issue here, where this situation, the COVID-19 pandemic, has led to serious gaps in the education of our children. These children suffered last year between April and September, there was no face to face school, so the children would have developed gaps and even what we tried for online and even in the best of circumstances, online teaching is not a perfect replacement for face to face learning.” King said.
