The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Regional Integration is encouraging community groups, non-governmental Organizations (NGOs), and other Organizations such as Schools to apply for financial support from the New Zealand High Commission Fund.

The Fund offers to support small scale short-term community projects that contribute to wider community well –being.

Areas liable for the current funding cycle are agriculture, environment, women’s empowerment and youth empowerment. The maximum that can be disbursed per project is roughly US$10,000.

Community groups are encouraged to submit project applications to the New Zealand High Commission by the end of January, 2016.

Applications must be submitted to: Mrs. Wainelle Alleyne-Jones Policy Adviser, at the New Zealand High Commission Bridgetown, P.O. Box 676 Lower Collymore Rock, Bridgetown, Barbados.
