Chairman of the Police Welfare Association, Inspector Trevor Bailey has called on members of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force to display a high level of professionalism at all times.

Delivering remarks on Saturday night at the 3rd annual awards ceremony held at the Police Canteen, Inspector Bailey also urged the officers to be diligent when carrying out investigations, and to view their recognition as a stepping stone in their quest for upward mobility.

Commissioner of Police, Mr. Michael Charles commended the officers and noted that although the year 2015 was a challenging one for the police force, there were also some significant positive achievements.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister and Minister of National Security, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves in his address at the ceremony, reaffirmed his personal support and the support of his administration for the Police Force and the Allied Services here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
