A ceremony will be held here later this week to officially launch the start of the 2018 Atlantic Hurricane Season.
The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Thursday May 31, 2018, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Conference Room starting at 9:30am.
Among those expected to address the forum are Ms. Michelle Forbes, Director, of the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO); Minister Saboto Caesar who will speak about the Impact of Hurricanes on the Agricultural Sector, and Minister Camillo Gonsalves who will speak on the Economic Impact of Hurricanes.
The feature Address will be delivered by Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, who will present a Declaration of the 2018 Hurricane Season, including Predications and Appeal
