Vincy Mas 2017 has been hailed a success, according to Ricardo Adams, Chairman of the Carnival Development Corporation (CDC).
Speaking to WEFM News this morning, Mr. Adams said that while he is awaiting certain pertinent reports from the CDC Committee and other agencies, he is of the view that overall the 40th anniversary of June-July Mas here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines was successful.
The CDC Chairman said that generally persons had a good time.
Mr. Adams further noted that most of the innovations introduced this year for Vincy Mas worked out well, while challenges were experienced in the staging of some events. He said the Committee will be meeting to review how they can improve for the future hosting of those events.
Vincy Mas 2017 ‘The Hottest Carnival in the Caribbean’ was held from June 30– July 11, 2017.
Carnival activities wrapped up yesterday with the staging of Mardi Gras.
