Canadian Medical student Zovel Olivia Hyre took the initiative to procure a donation of medical supplies to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
A release from the Ministry of Health said Zovel reached out to All Heart Americas Medical Superstore, who then took the initiative and got other medical vendors namely EKO devices, Medelita, Jockey Scrubs, Prestige Medical, MedCouture, IguanaMed and Wonderwink onboard to donate to the hospital here.
The student cleared the barrel herself with her own resources and handed it over on Tuesday December 19 at the Paediatric Ward.
The items were received by the Wards departmental Sister and Deputy Hospital Administrator Andrew Williams.
