The Buildings, Roads and General Services Authority (BRAGSA) is continuing its cleaning up activities in wake of Tropical Storm Harvey, which affected this island last Friday August 18, 2017.

Communications Officer at BRAGSA, Roxanne Millington said that heavy rains resulting from the tropical storm resulted in several landslides across mainland St. Vincent and in the Grenadine island of Bequia.

Mrs. Millington said that BRAGSA carried out road clearing on Saturday in areas on the Windward side of the island.

Mrs. Millington said cleaning up activities was also carried out in Bequia which was heavily impacted by the rains resulting in flooding in Port Elizabeth and other areas.

BRAGSA’s Communications Officer also expressed appreciation to the persons from various communities who would have come out and assisted in the cleaning up activities.
