The National Kidney Society will be hosting a Benefit Concert next month to raise much needed funds to assist persons here who require treatment for kidney diseases.
The concert will be held under the theme “What a little Love can do,” and is scheduled to take place on Sunday November 15th at the Russell’s Auditorium at Stoney Ground beginning at 6:00pm.
Speaking at a media briefing yesterday, Chairman of the Benefit Concert Committee, Mr. Fidel Taylor said the concert will feature performances from a number of Vincentian gospel artistes.
Mr. Taylor says they will be having the concert streamed and broadcast via a local radio station so that persons can call in and make pledges while the event is taking place. He says they are hoping to raise a minimum of $100,000.
