The Barrouallie Fisheries Cooperative will be hosting a Fish Festival this evening.
The BAGGA Fish Festival will be held at the Square in Barrouallie.
The fish festival marks the culmination of a week of activities being hosted by the Barrouallie Fisheries Cooperative for the 2018 Fisherman’s Month of activities.
On Sunday April 29, the Board of the cooperative visited two retired fishermen Mr. Kernal James and Grafton Lewis of the Community and presented them with food hampers.
On Monday, Wednesday and Thursday sessions were held at both primary schools in Barrouallie and the Central Leeward Secondary School on the importance of the fishing industry.
