Barbados recorded 23 new cases of COVID-19. There were also 27 recoveries, bringing the number of active cases to 287.

Of the 20 other cases, 18 are Barbadians and two, non-nationals.

The total number of people diagnosed as positive at Her Majesty’s Prisons Dodds remains at 362. Of these, 358 have recovered and the remaining four inmates are included in the active cases.

To date, Barbados has recorded 1,732 confirmed cases – 718 females, 1014 males – and 1427 people have recovered. There have been 18 deaths from the viral illness in Barbados.
